Virtual Legal Aid Clinic - DVAP (Dallas Volunteer Attorney Program)
Any person who wants to receive free legal help from the Dallas Volunteer Attorney Program must apply for assistance and meet our eligibility guidelines. The Dallas Volunteer Attorney Program helps clients with benefits, consumer, employment, family, housing, landlord-tenant, bankruptcy, expunctions and non-disclosures, probate, real property, tax, and wills cases. DVAP cannot help with criminal cases, tickets, or fee-generating cases such as personal injury matters. Applicants who have been sued should bring copies of their legal documents when applying for help.
DFW Metro NAACP Legal Redress Complaint Form
*DFW Metro NAACP does not currently have a Legal Redress Team or Chair. Meanwhile, we have connected with Legal Aid of NorthWest Texas to support our branch with Legal Redress Complaints. By filling out this form you agree to allow them to assist us in responding to your complaints. Although Legal Aid of NorthWest Texas services 114 Counties throughout the state of Texas, please only share complaints through our organization that occurred in our service areas of Carrollton, Coppell, Lewisville, Flower Mound, and Grapevine.
If you have complaints outside of our service area, please refer to the Texas State NAACP website to file a complaint and they will refer it to the appropriate branch.
*Per guidelines and procedures outline by the National NAACP training, our branch ONLY accepts Legal Redress Complaints in writing, via the following complaint form. Completing this form does not constitute filing an official complaint with a legal authority. This form is not for police complaints. At this time, the DFW Metro NAACP is only seeking additional information to assist you concerning the complaint. We are potential advocates, not attorneys!
